Two days per week outdoor bootcamp in northwest Calgary.
What you’ll get:
- Personalized group training with an experienced, certified coach.
- Group atmosphere with up to 10 people (could be increased based on government restrictions).
- Fun interactive routines, created with your goals in mind.
- The closest parking is about a 500m walk away, so bring something to carry everything (backpack or wagon works well).
Please bring a yoga mat, proper footwear and appropriate clothing. Ladies, bring anywhere from 8 – 15 lb dumbbells. Men, bring 20-30. Due to compliance with Alberta Health Services, there will be no sharing of dumbbells. Also, consider bringing bug spray and sunscreen when the weather warms up. There is a good chance you will end up on the grass too, so keep that in mind when selecting what clothing to wear.
There will be a combination of strength training, mobility, cardio and stretching. I will send a waiver that you must fill out before attending.
Cancellations will only happen due to poor weather conditions, or if there is an emergency out of your control. I only cancel if more than 10mm of rain is expected, if there is a thunderstorm warning issued, a snowfall warning is issued, or if any other situation happens where the bootcamp becomes unsafe. There will be no refunds due to weather-related cancellations.
Times for the bootcamp: 6:00 p.m. on Tuesdays, 6:00 p.m. on Thursdays.
It will be held in Nolan Hill, just west of Shaganappi Trail. The best address I can provide is 8 Nolan Hill Blvd NW. Below is a map, and the bottom red circle indicates where we will be moving our bodies. The blue circles indicate parking.
If you’re familiar with the area, it will be held on a cement pad just north of Symons Valley Blvd and east of Sarcee Trail.
There is parking on Nolan Hill Drive (on the west side). You can also park in the parking lot of State & Main, and then walk across the street. Whatever you’re most comfortable with.
